Tourist vs traveler. I used to care about this distinction. I don't anymore.

Standing in front of the Eiffel Tower with a camera? Still a traveler. Because you're there, you're present, you made it happen.

There's no hierarchy of travel. The person on their first international trip taking every photograph is living fully. The seasoned backpacker who looks down on resorts is missing the point.

Go where you want. Do what moves you. The gatekeeping of 'real travel' is exhausting.
