Reading a food label correctly will change how you shop forever.
What actually matters:
Calories per serving, and check what the serving size actually is.
Protein: higher is generally better.
Fibre: aim for foods with 3g+ per serving.
Ingredients list: the shorter and more recognisable, the better.
What you can usually ignore:
'Low fat' — often replaced with sugar.
'Natural' — means almost nothing legally.
'High protein' — check the actual number, not the marketing claim.
The front of the packet sells you something. The back tells you the truth.
Is there a food label claim you want me to break down? 👇
