What is Spirituality to me?
Spirituality, in my own terms, is the practice of returning to one’s soul to self through the development of intrinsic morals. That seems like a messy definition, that I do know. That’s not a bad thing though. Spirituality isn't all glittery and beautiful. It gets messy. Going within and facing all of your “demons” is a messy thing.
When you look at Oxford's definition of spirituality, you get something like,
“the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things”.
That’s cute, demure even. Neat. Spirituality is everything but cute, neat, and demure. So true, yet so misleading.
I am going to be posting daily about what spirituality looks like through my lens. This will include daily messages, guidance, and maybe even a reading or two regarding the energy and what spirit is wanting to be known.

Who, What, When, Where, and Why?
Funny enough, I’m going to start with the How. How do you know that spirituality is for you?
Considering that spirituality (in my terms) is to help you return to yourself, the easiest way to determine whether or not spirituality is for you is to look at where you currently are. Are you happy with where you are physically, emotionally, mentally, or even spiritually? If your answer to Over the next few weeks, I am going to tap into the 5 W’s (who, what, when, where, and why) of Spirituality. Over on the privates, there’s going to be an in-depth understanding of how to utilize the 5 W’s to help build the building blocks for spiritual success ( once again, through my lens). Over there, I’m going to dive deeper into How. This will include ‘How To’:
Get in tune with self,
Understand where you are in your journey,
Navigate your next steps, and
Stop to smell the roses
Or as I like to say to myself, how to G.U.N.S.

What is spirituality to you? Is it just a word? Is it a work of art? When you look at Oxford's definition of spirituality, you get something like,
“the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things”.
That’s cute, demure even. Neat. Spirituality is everything but cute, neat, and demure. So true, yet so misleading. I equate Spirituality to the Self Love Journey a lot more than I thought I did. I’m sure it's because loving yourself is a very spiritual thing in itself.
I’ve decided that I am going to be posting daily about what spirituality looks like through my lens. This will include daily messages, guidance, and maybe even a reading or two regarding the energy and what spirit is wanting to be known. And the first message is:
Make the next week a week of discovery. What are your intrinsic motives? What is your ‘why’?
