It is possible to work constantly and produce nothing meaningful. Rest and distance from the work are not indulgences; they are the conditions under which creative thinking regenerates.

Creative burnout in fashion is extremely common and extremely underacknowledged. The culture of constant availability and constant output is incompatible with the creative thinking the industry says it values.

The most creatively productive models, stylists, and photographers are consistently the ones who protect recovery time as aggressively as they protect booking time.

Prepping for outdoor events. The beauty products that actually hold up.

Setting spray, not setting powder, for outdoor longevity. Waterproof mascara always. Lip stain under gloss for lasting colour. Blotting papers in your bag. These hold in heat.

Outdoor event beauty is a completely different brief from indoor or studio beauty. The products that look best under studio lighting are not the products that perform best in direct sun, heat, and humidity.

Setting spray outperforms setting powder outdoors. Waterproof formulas are not optional. Blotting papers are the difference between maintained and melted.

The challenge is building a social presence that is genuine, consistent, and valuable without it becoming a second job that cannibalises time and energy from the actual work. Balance is the skill nobody teaches.

The start of the brow should align with the inner corner of the eye. The arch should sit above the outer edge of the iris. The end should reach the outer corner. These three points work for every face shape.

Brows frame the face more than any other feature. The three-point rule gives you the architecture; the density and finish are personal preference.

Whether you prefer a fuller, softer brow or a more defined one, the three-point placement ensures proportion. Deviation from it is where brows start to look off.

Understanding the image pipeline helps models contextualise the work they do on set. Most of what you shoot is never seen publicly.

This is not failure, it is the natural filtering process of editorial and commercial photography. You are contributing to a creative process, not just producing the final image. The best images come from sets where this is understood.
